After break-ins, Whitman polic

WHITMAN - Whitman police are reminding residents to lock their houses after a pair of break-ins in homes with unlocked windows and doors.

On Monday, a thief using a ladder pulled open an unlocked window on Edward Drive and stole jewelry and electronics.

On Tuesday, a thief stole money, jewelry and electronics from a Cranberry Road home after entering through an unlocked door.

Replica Piaget Watches A witness saw a well-dressed white man walk away from the Cranberry Road home at 11 a.m. carrying a briefcase and a bag.

The man was clean-cut, 18 to 22 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot- 10, and wearing a black wool coat, dress pants and shoes, police said. His hair was described as short and dark.

Both break-ins occurred early in the day after the homeowners had left for work.
