Vintage fashions capture buyer

HUNDREDS of fashionistas bought clothes from past decades when they attended a vintage fashion fair in Exeter.

Some 30 stallholders from the South West sold clothes and accessories including bags, shoes and dresses at the Blind Lemon Vintage Fashion Fair at Devonshire House, on the University of Exeter's main campus.

All of the items at the fair, which takes place throughout the year in different locations, were from the Victorian and Edwardian eras, right up to the 1980s.

Stacey Lynn, from Impress PR, who attended the event,
embroidered patches said: "It went really well. I think over 200 people bought lots of lovely vintage pieces."

The next Blind Lemon Vintage Fashion Fair takes place in Bristol on Sunday, October 25.
